Frontline for Dogs and Cats
Frontline is all you need to kill the fleas and ticks that get on the pets. If you use Archer as recommended in this website, you do not need to waste your money on the PLUS. The PLUS is an Insect Growth Regulator, which we normally recommend, but the eggs and larvae are on the floor and ground, not on your pet, so save your money and get the regular Frontline. If you do not use the Archer, even the PLUS will not save you. Get Archer to break the cycle of fleas and then you will not even need the Frontline, unless you are taking the pets out into untreated territory.

Frontline is an excellent treatment for both dogs and cats. It bonds to the oil layer of the skin and does not enter the bloodstream, nor cover the outside of the hair, but stays where the fleas would be. Each pet gets one vial per month of the appropriate size to kill any stray fleas or ticks that might get on the pet during that month. The PLUS in the Frontline is the addition of an IGR. Although we obviously promote Insect Growth Regulators, such as Archer, there is no need to have an IGR in the Frontline as the eggs and larvae do not develop on the pet, but in the home and yard. If you use Archer in the house and yard, we suggest that you save your money and simply buy the regular Frontline and not the Frontline PLUS.
